This is a sample of copyrighted materials at the
StudyCS web site.
This page contains lecture notes, short descriptions of various OS
terms, examples, exercises, and lab exercises, all of which are
usually useful for studying operating systems.
It can be used independently of any textbook, although it
has been designed around my existing
books and booklets about operating system.
At the moment there is no cost to use it, but
the material is all copyrighted.
You can obtain permission for personal use of these materials
by sending a request to Gary Nutt
(nutt@gnutt.com)
with your name, email address, and affiliation
(your school if you are a student, otherwise your place of employment).
Once you have obtained permission, you can make one copy of the
material for your personal use,
and you can read the materials on the web site as much as you want.
If you use the material without permission,
you are violating the copyright.
Thanks for your cooperation, and for using the site.
